Obituary for Beulah Nagel
Beulah "Bee” M. Nagel, 82, of 2331 Carmen Ave., Sheboygan, was called home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
She was born May 31, 1924 in Owatonna, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Paul and Lillian (Rockafellow) Seeger. Beulah moved to Sheboygan as a small child. She attended Sheboygan schools and was a 1942 graduate of Central High School. She worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Burnell Eckardt. On June 14, 1947, Beulah married John H. Nagel at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She and her husband are currently members at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. She was a past Girl Scout leader and Sunday School teacher. Beulah enjoyed camping, traveling, playing cards and also treasured her friendships with her many friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, John; 2 daughters, Jayne Akright of Sheboygan Falls and Karen (Bruce) Steiner of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Andrew (Nicky) Akright, Sara Akright, Tim and Tammy Steiner; four great grandchildren, Alex, Drew, Gracie and Emily.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Tony Akright.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls, with the Rev. Thomas Gudmundson, officiating. Burial will take place in Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home on Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 5:30 p.m.
A memorial fund will be established in her name for St. Paul Lutheran Church.
