Condolence From: Herb Goetsch
Condolence: To: Louis and David and families. I have many happy memories of bratfry parties with Schaum tortes with fresh strawberries with football games on your front lawn. Even one time when John Lemkeil brought his horse for rides. Those darn trees got in our way a few times, should have had helmets, but we were just lucky to have a football. Your dad was always so full of fun and your mom Evelyn so full of love and life. Well now they are both together with your brother Gary.
When you guys get back home, perhaps you can give me you email addresses and maybe phone numbers so we can keep in touch. Now that I'm retired - since Jan 2006 - we'll be traveling more and may get in your areas and call for a visit. Was especially interested in how Katrina affected you , David, since you lived just north of New Orleans. Our church has been sending down teams every week since last November to a place called Ocean Springs. I plan to join one of the teams soon and maybe could visit then. My wife Judy (Kuhlow) Goetsch will be at the funeral tomorrow since she was down in Sheboygan for a wedding shower. I wanted to come too but Judy wanted me to stay here with our daughter Missy - getting ready for finals in her mechanical engr program and some other stuff. Our oldest daughter is now a registered nurse after going back for a 2nd degree and loves it.
My deepest sympathies to you all in this great loss. I know I felt like an orphan when dad died in '85 and mom in '98 - and still miss them dearly, even if it was mostly phone calls since we've always lived away from Sheboygan.
And my sympathies to Grace, who took care of Jerome for the past, last years, God bless you for your good heart!
Blessings to all, Joy, Peace, Love, Herb
